Documents you need for a PCD franchise
Checklist of documents needed to start a PCD pharma franchise in India: wholesale drug licence, GST, PAN and the franchise agreement.
Pharma companies are required to supply only to licensed parties, so the paperwork comes first. Here is the checklist we follow at Acrowell Labs.
Compulsory
- Wholesale drug licence (Forms 20B and 21B, issued by your state drug control department). Retail licences are not enough for distribution.
- GST registration in the name of the firm that holds the drug licence.
- PAN of the firm or proprietor.
Usually asked for
- Address proof of the business premises.
- Bank account details for invoicing.
- A signed franchise / monopoly agreement listing your territory and products.
If your drug licence is still in process
You can still enquire and plan your territory and product list with us. Supply starts once the licence is issued.
Food and Ayurveda products
Some nutraceutical and Ayurvedic products have their own licensing rules. Our team will tell you if anything in your chosen list needs an additional registration in your state.
